Just a Sneak Preview

Tim has his "Fini-Flight" or his final flight in his jet at Langley today. I will post some more pics tomorrow, but I just had to share these of the kiddos in the massive headphones they were wearing out on the flight line. I look at these pictures and just crack up at their cheeks being squished!

In Case You Were Wondering......

In case you were wondering what exactly that strange feeling that you had today was. Apparently it was the perfect alignment of the stars and planets because as I was busy doing a little sprucing up of the guest room for Grandpa, I returned to the living room and found this:

Now, this NEVER happens, well, hardly ever. I think that it has only happened 2 other times in his entire life. He is the worst napper so I guess it just all has to be on his terms!

CeCe and Pop

Here's a few pictures from when CeCe and Pop came to visit. Sorry we've been a little out of touch lately. Jake is, dare I say it, officially potty trained! We've had absolutely NO accidents in about a month ( knock on wood!) and he's even been sleeping in his underwear, simply because he refuses to be associated with diapers of any kind now; he is a Big Boy after all! We shall see how this holds up on our cross country move we are about to do. Grandpa Dave is flying in on Wednesday to be here for Tim's final flight in the F-15 on Thursday. We are loading up and will be heading to Columbus on Sunday. The kiddos and I will be staying with CeCe and Pop while Tim returns here to take care of the movers. So we will be in Columbus for about 2 weeks so anyone that is interested in playdates, photo sessions and/or hairbows OR bowties, let me know. I'm excited for this new chapter in our lives, however, I am sad that we are already leaving Langley and the great friends that we have found here.

Look really closely and you can see Shelby Claire's fuzzy head. One day soon she will have enough hair to clip a bow to!

Chugga Chugga Chugga Chugga........

WOO WOO!
We've been SO busy around here lately. We've been ridin' the Potty Train, hardcore. Things have gone fabulously well, with, much to my surprise, relatively few accidents. Its amazing what a little bribery of stickers and some M&Ms will do! Mainly this is the reason for my absence, my whole day has been revolving around going to the Potty and it makes even the smallest tasks arduous when you have to stop what you are doing every 20 minutes.
I've been steadily, well, as much as I can these days in 20 minute increments, working on my home based businesses. I've updated my Puddin' Sugar Blog as well as started an Etsy shop. Those of you not familiar with Etsy, its a place where artisans and crafters can sell their wares without having to set up their own website, which can get pricey. Go check it out, I'd love to have some feedback and suggestions.
Also, I'm starting a photography business. Photography has always been a passion of mine especially since taking photography in college. I've been told by people that I have a great eye for photography and that I should consider doing it as a business and now that I have my new spiffy digital SLR, I'm taking the plunge. I would love to specialize in children's portraiture. I absolutely love how children display all of their emotions all over their faces. I am currently collecting and organizing my photos for my portfolio and site. We will be coming through the South when we are moving in August, so I will be glad to start booking appointments for anyone in the Columbus, MS area. The sitting fee, which doesn't include the price of any prints, is $50 for about 2 hours worth of time shooting as well as my time doing creative editing and enhancements later on. Prints vary in price depending on size, of course, but they start at $8 for a 4x6. I can also do a vast array of different items such as books, canvasses etc. More to come soon, hopefully I get my photography site updated!
